Dear Otters,

Welcome to our last full week of learning in this academic year. I hope that you have all received your reports last Friday and that you had a chance to read them and reflect upon them. It’s always tricky to summarise your achievements and your rich personalities in only a few lines of writing but Mrs Richardson and I tried our best.

I’m sure that you are familiar with our weekly expectations but just in case, here’s the outline of your home learning for this week:

For Maths you should continue to visit the White Rose Maths website to watch your daily video and then complete the worksheet on the school website. You also need to complete Section 4 Test 9 of I Can Do Maths.  Please all carry on with as much Doodle Maths and Doodle Tables as possible. Carry on your hard work!

For English, carry on visiting the BBC Bitesize website https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/dailylessons daily. Please also remember to read for pleasure every day.

In the afternoons, please continue to choose ideas from the learning grids for Science, Geography, History, Art and RE or think of your own activities for these.

Looking for something else to do? Try watching Newsround on BBC website (https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/news/watch_newsround).

Mrs Richardson and I are always pleased to see any pictures of work you’re proud of and would like to share via email. Please feel free to also choose your own activities such as cooking, arts and crafts, gardening, singing and music, PE with Joe, yoga, walking, and of course, continue to use any of the activities on Purple Mash as much as you like.

Work hard, keep trying your best and allocate some time for relaxing, too. And always remember our school values: be kind, respectful and appreciate everyone and everything around you.

Have a lovely week, Otters!

With warm wishes,

Mrs Woods
