Hello Fox Class.

It’s been so lovely to be able to see some of your work from Big Write today and I have started to read these and leave you comments this afternoon, which I will carry on with tomorrow.  If you haven’t already done this, please take a photo of your work and save it to your Purple Mash account by going to the My Work folder and clicking the ‘upload’ button so that I can mark this work.

Here is your work for Thursday.  You can complete these tasks in any order but try to get everything done.  It’s fine if you need to adapt some of the activities with your parents, especially the White Rose Maths worksheets as it’s not always easy to do these on a screen.

-Year 2 Work through White Rose Home Learning Summer Week 1 Lesson 4 (Measure length m) https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-2/

-Year 2 Complete Doodle Maths ‘x a day’.

-Year 3 Work through White Rose Home Learning Summer Week 1 Lesson 4 (Order fractions) https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-3/

-Year 3 Complete I Can Do Maths Section 3 Test 1 Part C questions 6-10.

-Practise this week’s spellings.

-Watch the video clip for Guided Reading https://youtu.be/vi2rWtPaGSo.  You will need your copy of The Legend of Spud Murphy so that you can read along with me.

-Complete the questions for pages 1-5 of The Legend of Spud Murphy (attached).  Everyone should do the red and yellow questions.  If you want to challenge yourself to have a go at the green and purple questions too.

-Mark your answers (attached).  If you aren’t sure whether you got the answer right, ask a parent to help you check.

-Read Powerpoint about Seurat (attached).

-Complete task to list things you can see in the pictures and copy one (see Powerpoint for more instructions).

Other ideas to keep your bodies and brains active:

-Complete Joe Wicks’s workout https://www.youtube.com/user/thebodycoach1

-Practise your running skills by setting up a space for shuttle runs and see how many you can do in a minute. Repeat this 5 times making sure you have a rest in between. Have a go at beating your score each time or see what happens when you experiment with different speeds.

-Get musical and do some singing!

-Read a book

Have a great day.
