Dear Badger Class

I hope you all had a lovely weekend in the sunshine. This week, Ms Tunstall or I will be giving you a quick phone call to see how you are all getting on. It would be nice to speak you as well as one of your parents. This is just to find out how you are feeling and if there is anything we can be doing to help with your home learning.

Here are the activities for Monday. Like last week, Monday has a shorter reading task to do because we need to practise and test ourselves with our times tables. I have asked Year 3s to practise the 3 x table and the year 4s the 6 times table, but it doesn’t really matter which ones you do as long as you try your best.It might be an idea to keep a record of the tables you have learned in your Homework book. Remember, practice will help you feel more confident and satisfied with yourself.

In English, we will continue to read the online story of The Settlers on Purple Mash. This week will focus on reading, comprehension and grammar which will be done in your Homework books please. If you can print the worksheets off that would be great but if not, you can do the work straight into your book. Please keep it neat! Be proud of your presentation.

Looking forward to another week at home reading all your lovely work!

Mrs Bailey

PS Don’t forget to watch Ms Tunstall reading Chapter 6 of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.
